A raucous, full-cast work that explores what happens when the vitality, energy and desires of youth are not allowed to realise themselves. Initially inspired by Jeffrey Eugenides' The Virgin Suicides and the vestal world of nunneries, it is a somewhat savage, somewhat spiritual dichotomy between ardent longing and enforced repression. Cathartic, theatrical and energetic, and set to a soundtrack of Cuban percussion and Mexican rancheras, it promises to be a hilarious and ecstatic epiphany for all who experience it.
